On 21.04.09 the doors to the world's largest apparel machinery trade show, the IMB in Cologne, closed its doors. The trade show, which ran from 21. - 24.04.09, was the first major public appraisal for the new PFAFF company.
The feedback and interest in PFAFF and its products far exceeded the expectations of those in charge at PFAFF. Over four days, PFAFF welcomed more than 2,000 customers and interested individuals at their 350m exhibition area. Sometimes it was virtually impossible to get through the red and white show stand. A motivated team from PFAFF presented about 30 solutions for the clothing and leather industry, as well as for the "technical textiles" sector. Joachim Richter, director and owner of the new PFAFF Industriesysteme und Maschinen AG, was thrilled with the calibre and quantity of international trade visitors to the PFAFF stand.
"Customers continue to trust the PFAFF brand and its innovative strength in respect of sewing and sealing solutions," said Joachim Richter. "We were able to win over the industry's top decision makers to our approach during numerous talks."
On the penultimate day, Joachim Richter, together with his trade show team and more than 80 PFAFF dealers and sales partners from across the globe, celebrated a PFAFF trade show party. In just another 3 weeks, the company will be heading for the INTERZUM trade show in Cologne, a show for the home and automotive upholstery industry. PFAFF aims to make just as much of a mark in the industry here as well.
