Sumeet Industries commissions POY/FDY plant

Sumeet Industries Ltd has informed that the "POLYESTER FILAMENT YARN (POY/FDY) PLANT" (Direct spinning unit through PTA and MEG route) has been commissioned successfully and production has been started from March 11, 2010.
By implementation of this Project the total capacity of the Company's POY and FDY production will be increased from 12000 TPA to 56000 TPA.
Mr. Shankarlal Somani established Sumeet Industries Limited in 1989. The company started as a yarn manufacturing unit and has now grown in a huge conglomerate with various businesses with an annual turn over of Rs. 1200 million (USD 27 million). The company believes that perfection is something that's defined by the customer and not by any formula or certificate.
