The 11th International Coating Symposium of Coatema will take place in Dormagen on 06th and 07th of October 2010. Because of the big interest from last year also this time the symposium will be introduced by a drinks reception on 5th of October 2010. 10 international lecturers from industry and research will report on the latest results and developments (subject to modifications).
• Prof. Dr. Achim Kampker, RWTH Aachen - WZL, Germany „Integrated product and production process development for electric vehicles” • Yusuke Furuya, Mitsubishi Materials Corporation, Japan: “Tungsten carbide lip slot-die for high precision coating” • Dr. Birger Zimmermann, Fraunhofer ISE, Germany: “Flexible polymer solar cells” • Andreas Woerz, Keyence Deutschland GmbH, Germany: “Techniques and applications of inline optical thickness measurement” • Dr. Stefan Mogck and Christian May, Fraunhofer IPMS - Institut fuer Photonische Mikrosysteme, Germany: "Roll-to-roll process line for OLED lighting" • Rolf Müller, IST Metz GmbH, Germany: „UVtechnology for different applications” • Anthony Fernandez, Xennia Technology Ltd.,United Kingdom: “Inkjet - one pass roll-to-roll” • Rob Hablewitz, Pillar Technologies, USA: „Narrow web corona treatment and the powerfactor“ • (NN) “Hotmelt Smartcoater development” • Martin Streuli, Shinko Europe AG, Switzerland "Surface cleaning of polymer films and other substrates"
The delivered theory will be put into practice in the company owned R&D center on a surface of 1.200m2. Here, plants with working widths from 250 mm up to 2.000 mm are on hand: 11 pilot plants, 1 production line and Click&Coat concept.
The combination of theoretical lectures and practical coating trials will again answer a lot of questions and will give suggestions for the future. Because of the international orientation, the conference will be held in English for the 6th time. It will be the meeting point for basic researchers, process engineers, machine builders, experts in production and product development.
