Bearing in mind to present novel techniques and farming methods for cotton farmers, Monsanto jointly with the National Institute of Textile Mills Association is to launch cotton libraries in Haryana.
As revealed by an official spokesperson, the cotton libraries are intended to present the cotton farmers with comprehensive information as regards farming of cotton to enhance cotton cultivation, and the same would be established in cotton cultivating villages of Sirsa region in Haryana.
He further stated that, Monsanto for setting up these libraries has taken under its wings 15 villages in the region. The library would display literary stuff regarding cotton crop, as also it would acquaint the farmers about the different methods to safeguard cotton crops from diseases and pests. He further added that, farmers would be acquainted with modern methods of farming to facilitate them to reap maximum yield of their crops.
