Mayer & Cie aiming for 1000 circular knitting machines in 2010

Mayer & Cie.'s newly formed management board is more than pleased with this year's business development. The traditional, family-run business will realize a turnover of more than 60 million EURO in 2010 and will thereby deliver close to 1000 circular knitting machines.
More than 150 of them are fully electronic jacquard machines and underline the claim to technological leadership of the company located in the Southern part of Germany. This is the reason why Mayer & Cie. GmbH & Co. KG with their subsidiaries in the key markets China and Brazil as well as the worldwide sales and service network continues to be global market leader both in technology as well as in turnover in the circular knitting machinery sector.
In order to maintain this position, Mayer & Cie. more than ever and with uncompromising commitment focus on the factors of success - quality, service and innovation - which the company made so strong during the last 105 years. At present more than 70 valid patents are in the property of the company. Until ITMA 2011 in Barcelona more will be added yet and can be seen in some of the new machine models which will be shown there.
Mayer & Cie.'s newly formed management board consisting of Rainer Mayer, the partner who returned to the management board, the newly to the board appointed Josef Kleebinder and the partner already belonging to the management board, Marcus Mayer, are confident that the coming business year 2011 will be minimum on the level of 2010.
