Bhilwara spins polyester-linen blends for diverse applications

LNJ Bhilwara Group company Bhilwara Spinners Ltd (BSL) has moved in domestic markets with polyester-linen blends suitable for suiting, shirting and curtains, and has been well received in the Indian markets during pre-launch trial.
Speaking to media, B J Parakh, Marketing Head, said poly-linen blends are available from 6 to 30 counts and priced between Rs130-Rs180 per kg.
BSL is currently producing 10 metric tons of poly-linen yarns, Parakh said.
Company's total production capacity stands at 850 tons per month of which 550 tons is grey and the rest 300 tons is dyed yarn.
Parakh stated that linen in slub variety and poly-linen yarns in various qualities in slub yarns are being offered by BSL.
Having achieved 'Export House' status, the company has started mulling forays in overseas markets.
