Acando & K3 Software unveil new IT solution for fashion

Acando, an information technology, database, and web design consulting firm, and K3 Software Solutions, an IT firm developing fashion PLM solutions, have joined hands to offer a tailor-made solution to the fashion industry. Ax|is fashion from K3 is fully embedded in Dynamics 365 for operations and supports the entire lifecycle from design to sale.

Ax|is fashion offers fashion and apparel companies a tailored environment to gain insight and control over all their processes and channels to market. Among other things, it facilitates inventory balances and includes the possibility of seasonal and stock management, a mission critical element for any organisation looking to be competitive in this industry. It is a system that supports a growing and more tailored range and creates greater scope for both visualisation and traceability.

Olof Akesson, head of marketing and sales, Acando said, “We see that Swedish retailers need to optimise their core processes in order to gain new market share and grow profitably in a challenging market. Acando and K3’s first common customer are expected to go live with a cloud solution in the winter, which we look forward to.”

Sander Schoneveld, managing director, K3 Software Solutions said, “We believe that the partnership with Acando combined with K3’s experience in the fashion industry will generate great value for our joint customers. We are already working together and look forward to further collaborating to help fashion companies to drive change in their business.” (GK)
