Chinese innerwear firm adopts Centric 8 PLM suite
Mar '16
Aimer Group, a professional supplier of high quality innerwear and accessories, has selected Centric Software to provide its PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solution.

Aimer will use Centric 8 PLM to improve data management in product design and Research and Development (R&D), and to enhance collaboration between R&D, design, and development.

In a rapidly growing and highly competitive fashion market, Aimer decided to further leverage product development by adopting a PLM solution to enhance its R&D management and response time.

Aimer's main business challenge has been R&D data management, which entails keeping track of data on styles and materials, design files and supplier information. Aimer needed to enhance inter-departmental communication and easily reuse data and design assets to speed up product development and improve overall efficiency.

After extensive contact and communication with various PLM software providers and a rigorous selection process, Aimer finally chose Centric for the company's fashion industry expertise and comprehensive fashion PLM solution. Centric will provide Aimer with best-in-class PLM and best practices from the intimates industry, according to a press release.

Mr. Qin Mingyao, technical director, Centric China said, “During the selection process, Aimer was impressed by our intuitive interface and ready-to-use product. Our solution focuses on managing complicated customer business scenarios through a flexible product structure and intuitive interface. We're fully confident that Centric 8 PLM will help Aimer to improve its information-based R&D system.”

Chris Groves, CEO of Centric Software said, “Aimer has shown great confidence in Centric 8 PLM and our team, and we are sure that this partnership will be a success as we both share a high level of commitment based on a passion for innovation and performance. We look forward to helping Aimer realise significant the business benefits they are targeting.” (GK)
