DecisionPoint Systems hires Steve Smith as CEO

DecisionPoint Systems, a leading provider and integrator of Enterprise mobility, wireless applications, and IoT solutions, has appointed Steve Smith as its chief executive officer, effective April 11, 2016.
Smith has over 35 years of experience in technology company sales and field operations, with the last 25 focused on DecisionPoint Systems’ core automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) market, according to a press release.
Stanley Jaworski, DecisionPoint chairman said, “I am delighted to welcome Steve Smith to DecisionPoint. Steve has been a top performer in every position he’s held, and brings a great wealth of industry-specific experience to our Company. We see this as a time of great opportunity for DecisionPoint, and are very fortunate to be able to secure Steve’s leadership toward the full realisation of that opportunity.”
Smith said, “I am very pleased to be able to join DecisionPoint Systems at this time of expanding opportunity. I have been fortunate to participate in the build-out of the AIDC industry over the past 25 years, and look forward to leading our Company to extend its history of growth and success in this space in the years ahead.
