ITAG & Printronix to boost label printing in Taiwan

ITAG Tecnologia and Printronix have entered into a partnership to boost the automation of smart label distribution and printing in Taiwan, China. ITAG is a pioneer in RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) services and solutions. Printronix is a global leader in mission-critical industrial printing, offering enterprise grade industrial printing solutions.

The goal of the partnership is to create an RFID printing bureau in Taiwan. The ITAG and Maxmill companies (representative of Printronix) will be responsible for the printing and serialisation of RFID tags of the productions manufactured in other countries that use the ITAG RFID solution in Brazil. The service is aimed at customers who wish to adopt RFID technology, but have part of their production outside the Brazilian territory. Production takes place according to the needs of the customer, meeting the growing demands of the market in a fast and economical way. The ready labels will be delivered from Taiwan to any customer’s manufacturing destination, being Asia, Europe or India.

With proven excellence in the field, ITAG collects successful cases in Brazil. In addition to being considered the first integrator of the country to generate the code in the standard EPC Gen2, homologated by the Brazilian Automation Association (GS1 Brazil). For more than 40 years, Printronix has offered a wealth of services that enable the application of RFID. With the established partnership, Printronix becomes one of the key partners in the international market.

The RFID system uses 915 MHz radio waves and brings a number of business benefits, such as increasing productivity, tracking traceability of the item path in the chain of processes, managing inventory more easily, limiting waste, reducing waste, and simplifying logistics.
