Lectra India hosts two fashion seminars & workshops

Lectra, a leader in integrated solutions for fabrics, technical textiles, and composite materials, organised two seminars and two workshops dedicated to “Design to Manufacture” in Bangalore, Tirupur, and Gurgaon. Based on interactive sessions, the seminars and workshops were attended by professionals from leading apparel exporters and fashion brands.

The two seminars dedicated to apparel manufacturers focused on how to reduce product development cycle time by capitalising on pattern library and dedicate more time to creative activities in CAD room and how to increase productivity with Lectra Design to Manufacture.

Prasenjeet Shambharkar, solutions consultant, Lectra India, introduced new technology processes and explained how they can increase productivity and saving in the cutting room.

Rajeev Sharma, solutions consultant, Lectra India, presented an overview on design to manufacturing process, challenges in product development and approval process, pattern making issues faced by the apparel companies and explained how Lectra’s solutions can address these challenges with “design to cost” scenarios.

The two workshops mainly focused on the challenges faced by apparel manufacturers and brands to increase productivity in the cutting room, and in shortening the product development cycle, by using latest Lectra’s innovative technology. Lectra will continue to organise its series of “Design to Manufacture” seminars and workshops in other upcoming and promising locations in India in the future. (GK)
