New mobile shopping app Swivel Selfie unveiled at CES 2016

Taking shopping experience to a new high is a new mobile app based on augmented reality called allows Swivel Selfie which enables customers not just to try-on garments and accessories using a mobile device, but seek recommendations, share looks, and even make purchases.
Swivel Selfie, has been introduced by FaceCake Marketing Technologies, Inc., the creators of the widely acclaimed Swivel Virtual Dressing Room at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016 in Las Vegas. FaceCake previewed Swivel Selfie by appointment at the CES, the company said in a press release.
FaceCake's Swivel, the first augmented reality virtual dressing room, served as inspiration for Swivel Selfie, a natural extension into mobile phones.
"We designed Swivel Selfie to make the most of the mobile platform, utilizing both the front and rear-facing cameras, while incorporating something as basic as a mirror to maximize product visualization options for users," said Linda Smith, Founder and CEO of FaceCake.
"Swivel Selfie is the newest addition to our augmented reality shopping platform, and we are pleased to preview it at CES," she said.
Incorporating advanced product image recognition, beacon integration and curated content, Swivel Selfie provides access to items across departments to engage and convert from any point in the store. Personalized collections or products are accessible At-Home, on-the-go or activated as shoppers pass displays or walk through departments In-Store, enabling them to see how an item looks on their own image without needing to find their size and go to the dressing room.
Swivel Selfie allows shoppers to virtually Try-On products, using any mirror for a full-body view or their front-facing camera for a selfie view. Swivel Selfie is turnkey for retail partners, working with infrastructure that retailers already have in place, while shoppers can use the app to find, try, share, and buy products wherever they go.
