Record sales support global workforce expansion at Visual 2000

Supported by record 2011 sales of its End-2-End fashion software solutions, Visual 2000 International Inc. is accelerating recruitment of its global customer support and product development teams. Key positions included in the expansion include customer training and system implementation professionals at the company's European headquarters in Manchester, United Kingdom; and software developers in Montreal, Canada and Shanghai, China.
The expansion will enable Visual 2000 to stay ahead of a fast-growing customer demand with a staff of more than 80 professionals focused solely on solutions for the apparel, footwear, accessories, and other fashion industry segments.
“The strategic growth initiatives we launched a few years ago are exceeding our expectations”, reported Charles Benoualid, Visual 2000 Vice President of Research and Development.
“Much of this growth is made possible by the teamwork that went into making our fashion-specific products ready and easy to use right out of the box. These capabilities give us and our customers substantial advantages over traditional systems that require long implementation times and learning curves. With a much faster time-to-benefit timeline, our systems drive greater benefits for time-compressed fashion companies that need to quickly achieve business improvements and capture new business opportunities.”
Key among the software products contributing to the company's record sales results are the Visual PLM.net product lifecycle management and Visual ERP enterprise business solutions. Together, these and other Visual 2000 software modules enable companies to better identify and control costs, improve productivity and innovation, and enhance supply chain visibility and collaboration.
The company continues to experience solid growth in its core North American market with major recent retail and distribution management client additions; while new offices in Europe and Asia have ramped up quickly with large system sales in both retail and wholesale segments.
