NGC Software announced that the company has been named as a 2011 Great Supply Chain Partner by SupplyChainBrain. NGC was selected as a Top 100 company out of hundreds of nominations for the prestigious list, which recognizes the industry's best and most reliable supply chain vendors.

SupplyChainBrain's ninth annual 100 Great Supply Chain Partners list is the result of a poll of logistics and supply chain professionals in which readers are asked to nominate vendors and service providers whose technology, logistics, transportation or consulting solutions have made a significant impact on their company's efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance. According to SupplyChainBrain, the purpose of the awards is to recognize those vendors that have so impressed the readers that they deserve to be held up as examples for others in the industry.

Topson Downs, a private label manufacturer of women's and children's apparel for leading retailers, nominated NGC as a Top 100 Supply Chain Partner. “We have experienced significant operational improvements as a result of implementing PLM and Global Sourcing software from NGC,” said Alex Perez, IT Manager, Topson Downs. “NGC has helped us to centralize communications, streamline operations, eliminate redundancies and transform overall efficiency in our business.”

“We are honored that SupplyChainBrain has named NGC as one of the top 100 Great Supply Chain Partners,” said Mark Burstein, president of sales, marketing and R&D, NGC. “We take pride in the fact that our customers recognize us for providing best-in-class technology solutions and services. NGC's ultimate goal is to ensure that our customers harness the power of our PLM, Global Sourcing and ERP solutions to transform their supply chains.”

SupplyChainBrain, the world's most comprehensive supply chain management information resource, is accessed year round through a wide range of ever evolving multi-media formats by hundreds of thousands of senior level industry executives. In addition to addressing the fundamental principles of supply-chain management, SupplyChainBrain identifies emerging trends, technologies and best practices, forward thinking ideas and cutting-edge solutions-and continues to write and report about these as they evolve and mature.
