Modaexpress turns to Visual 2000 to manage Fendi distribution

Visual 2000 International Inc announces that Modaexpress of USA has completed a comprehensive software customization project that will enable the third-party logistics (3PL) company to better integrate and streamline the North American distribution and back-office services it provides for global luxury brand Fendi. Headquartered in Secaucus, New Jersey, Modaexpress has been utilizing Visual 2000 enterprise resource planning (ERP), warehouse management (WMS), and electronic data exchange (EDI) solutions for more than five years to manage warehousing and order fulfillment operations for some of the most successful fashion companies in the world.

According to Modaexpress CIO Eddie Smolenskiy, “With the help of the Visual-2000 development team, MODAEXPRESS and Fendi NA were able to achieve true collaboration between the EDI trading partners and the Fendi EU production and order management system. The Visual 2000 system provides Fendi executives and managers with the reporting tools and visibility needed to analyze current and forecast future U.S. business.”

To better align their systems with the specific needs of Fendi, Modaexpress engaged Visual 2000 to automate the process of importing orders from the SAP system at Fendi. Visual 2000 ERP and WMS systems were optimized to improve receiving, warehousing, order picking and packing, shipment, accounting, and retail collaboration capabilities specifically for Fendi. Customer-specific modifications to the IT systems will also enable the company to better scale and respond to North American market conditions and related demands and delivery service requirements.
