Triumph, a leading Swiss-based manufacturer of lingerie, underwear and shape wear for women and men, chose BT, one of the world's leading providers of communications services and solutions, to connect its rapidly expanding network of production sites and shops with the company's headquarters in Bad Zurzach, Switzerland.

Under the agreement, BT significantly enhances network performance, allowing Triumph to communicate and collaborate faster and more efficiently at 56 sites in 44 countries.

Triumph leverages the BT Connect portfolio, a powerful mix of highly available and reliable global network services. This helps bring Triumph together with its employees, customers and the world.

Founded in 1886, Triumph is privately owned and managed by members of the fifth generation of the two founding families. The company is represented in more than 120 countries with manufacturing facilities in ten countries. BT has been providing Triumph with global Wide Area Network (WAN) services since 2003.

Martin Hölscher, chief information officer at Triumph, said “This agreement builds on a very successful collaboration with BT that spans more than eight years and will help us grow both in Switzerland and internationally. Reliable and secure connectivity is at the centre of our global operations, ensuring smooth production and in-time distribution of our products.”

Olivier Campenon, BT president EMEA, said “I am very proud of our long term partnership with one of the best-known Swiss brands. Triumph is succeeding in the fast paced fashion industry, and networked IT services are of key importance to their competitiveness. BT is fully committed to continue supporting Triumph in the same way we support all our Swiss-based multinational enterprise customers.”

BT PLC is one of the world's leading communications services companies, serving the needs of customers in the UK and in more than 170 countries worldwide. Our main activities are the provision of fixed-line services, broadband, mobile and TV products and services as well as networked IT services.

Triumph International established a home for the UK and Ireland in 1964. We now occupy a large purpose built premises in Swindon that serves as the hub for sales, marketing, warehousing, administration, accounts, planning and personnel.
