Zegna shows its passion for digital technology again

With the project Zegna Live, Ermenegildo Zegna will stream the most interesting content for its clients and fashion followers, creating a preferential path into the world of exclusivity, style and avant-garde that will mark the launch of each new Zegna collection brought to stage during the season's fashion shows.

Available for download starting January 1, 2012, the new Zegna LIVE App for iPhone and iPad lets users participate in the Ermenegildo Zegna AW 2012 fashion show “live”, which will be streamed Saturday, January 14 at 10:30 am (CET). In addition, the App will feature backstage secrets and details of each look.

For the first time ever, in occasion of the FW12 fashion show, Zegna will offer customers via the App and the company's official websites, the extraordinary possibility to purchase a selected assortment of iconic and exclusive products the moment that they are shown on the catwalk, before they are available in Zegna's worldwide network of stores and boutiques and with an immediate delivery. This incredible opportunity is in honor of the FW12 show, and all orders are available for immediate delivery.

In the phase preceding the fashion show, Zegna LIVE will feature a countdown to accompany followers right up to the opening of the walkway. With the Join function you can connect the App to Facebook, and with Share publish the App downloadable for free from the Apple Store (starting January 1st ).

The actual LIVE staging will allow users to experience in real-time the excitement of the fashion show. They can also publish their favorite look on their wall, access product information and details about the looks that will be exclusively sold as part of the show, as well as access the press releases relative to the new FW 2012 collection.

In the phase post-live, the App will continue to stream new digital events and additional content on the style and particulars of the Zegna collections, with a wealth of details and images, as well as the possibility to connect directly to the e-store.

Zegna will start the new year of 2012 by addressing the market with an incisive language that values the excellence of a strong “social-media forward” strategy.
