Gerber to overcome customers' challenges at Texprocess

The solution: The ContourVision automated scan-to-cut system enables manufacturers to scan custom printed textiles, automatically generate cut files and cut directly from textile rolls at speeds up to 1.1 meters per second. It is available as an option on the GERBERcutter Z1.
The challenge: Cutting multiple plies of material with precision from the bottom to top ply.
The solution: The GERBERcutter Z7 is designed to cut up to 7.2 cm. (2.8 inches) of compressed material for many applications, including apparel fashion. It is a feature-rich system that cuts intricate shapes, multiple hole sizes and notches precisely without interruption and includes powerful reporting functionality that enables users to take control of their cutting room.
In addition to these new offerings, Gerber Technology offers an extensive and robust suite of automation solutions – from computer-aided pattern design systems and powerful product lifecycle management software to precision spreading and cutting systems.
