New inlays for NXP UCODE G2iL & NXP UCODE G2iM upgradation

UPM RFID is introducing two inlays featuring the NXP UCODE G2iL chip: the UPM Stamp NF (near field) UHF inlay and UPM Jewel UHF inlay. These new inlays will also be available with the NXP UCODE G2iM chip.
UPM Stamp NF UHF inlay with NXP UCODE G2iL IC:
•Antenna size 12 x 12 mm / 0.47 x 0.47”
•Die-cut size 15 x 15 mm / 0.59 x 0.59”
•EPC Gen2 and ISO 18000-6C protocol compliant
•Ideal for item-level applications where a small footprint is required, such as electronics and cosmetics
UPM Jewel UHF inlay with NXP UCODE G2iL IC:
•Jewellery tag with double sided print area 19 x 31 mm / 0.75 x 1.22”
•EPC Gen2 and ISO 18000-6C protocol compliant
•Designed for jewellery and accessories tagging
Samples for UPM Stamp and UPM Jewel NXP UCODE G2iL products are immediately available from your local UPM RFID sales representative.
UPM RFID is also upgrading several products to the NXP UCODE G2iM UHF chip. The NXP UCODE G2iM comes equipped with 128 to 448 bits of EPC memory, and an unalterable TID of 96 bits including a 48-bit unique serial number. Additional user memory offers up to 640 bits.

UPM RFID UHF products with the NXP UCODE G2iM chip are immediately available in sampling volumes. Volume deliveries start during Q2/ 2012 from UPM RFID's converting and distribution partners worldwide.
These new UCODE G2iL and G2iM based products will be presented at UPM RFID booth No 512 during RFID Journal Live! in Orlando, FL, USA, on April 3-5, 2012.
