Technology integrations can be one of the biggest headaches of ecommerce and can account for a large portion of the overall time and cost of a typical ecommerce implementation.

So when ShopRunner, a members-only shopping service that offers unlimited free two-day shipping and free and easy returns, was looking to accurately and efficiently develop the cartridge for Demandware's LINK Technology partner program, ShopRunner enlisted the experts from Lyons Consulting Group. The team at Lyons Consulting Group built the ShopRunner LINK cartridge in less than two weeks.

Lyons Consulting Group, the premier ecommerce design, development, hosting and support firm, is a Demandware solutions partner with years of experience working with the Demandware Commerce platform. However, over the last several years, lyonscg has also built a reputation for building solid cartridges for different technology providers looking to integrate with the Demandware platform. Since 2007, Lyons Consulting Group has built several cartridges for Demandware LINK partners including Gigya, 500 Friends, Accertify and Rich Relevance.

Now that ShopRunner is part of the Demandware LINK marketplace, Demandware retailers have direct access to the ShopRunner application and can now provide their customers with free 2-day shipping and easy free returns. ShopRunner's growing retail network includes relationships with some of America's most sought-after brands across retail categories including apparel, baby, beauty, sporting goods, pets, toys, electronics, luggage, automotive and more.

"We were excited to partner with Lyons Consulting Group to make it easier and more cost efficient for Demandware retailers to take advantage of ShopRunner functionality. Our ability to drive incremental sales to any ShopRunner participating store, through customer acquisition and improved frequency are critical for our retail partners success," said Mike Golden, CEO and President of ShopRunner.

"Demandware LINK significantly reduces the integration hurdles that retailers face when adopting ecommerce technologies," said Rich Lyons, CEO and President of Lyons Consulting Group. "So by bringing added value to Demandware clients with a ShopRunner integration is something that we were excited to be a part of."
