Xcessory implements Simparel ERP Solution

Simparel Inc. announces that children's playtime accessories manufacturer Xcessory International LLC has begun implementation of Simparel, the Unified Global ERP Solution for apparel, footwear and accessories businesses, at its Manhattan headquarters.
Simparel will replace the company's 15 year old rigid legacy solution with a flexible, completely unified solution engineered to grow with the company. Xcessory International expects that Simparel's user friendly solution will better accommodate the changing needs and explosive growth of the company.
“We've been fortunate to experience such rapid growth, and needed a system that could keep up,” explained Chief Financial Officer, Michael Dervis.
“We're a young company that was working in an old system. Management felt the need to replace our outdated system with a state-of-the-art solution like Simparel that could not only support our current growth, but could grow with us in the future.
“Simparel had the functionality we lacked in the old system, and the user friendliness that will make for a smooth transition.”
Xcessory International will leverage the use of Amazon's EC2 Cloud to host the solution that will be accessed by their New York offices, in addition to three distribution centers located in California, Hong Kong and China.
“In a project that touches every aspect of the business, we knew that we needed a partner that we could trust and depend on well into the future,” added Dervis.
