Fashion-focused business software developer and marketer Fashionware Technologies, Corp. announces the launch of its next generation Fashionware PLM Product Lifecycle Management solution.

Designed and created specifically for small and medium-sized fashion companies, the innovative management and collaboration software fuses the simplicity and affordability of cloud computing with fashion best-practices to put PLM within the reach of the thousands of mainstream businesses that see existing PLM options as too complex, cumbersome, and costly.

The new software promises to eliminate the massive upfront license and hardware costs, multi-year implementation schedules, and user dissent common with existing PLM systems.

“We saw an urgent need from small and medium-sized fashion companies for an affordable, easy to use PLM solution  for product management, information sharing and team collaboration,” explained Paul A. Friedman, Ph.D., Fashionware Founder and Chief Visionary. “We leveraged fashion industry best practices along with the latest web technologies to create a new way to quickly and easily manage the product lifecycle. The result is a practical solution that generates customer value and ROI very quickly.”

Fashionware PLM is designed to deliver the greatest value in the shortest time frame by improving data organization and access, minimizing errors and streamlining the product development process; improvements crucial for producing the right product, at the right time, and at the right price.

The web-based PLM platform centralizes design information, improves communications between company teams and suppliers, and provides visibility into all aspects of the product lifecycle. By using convenient onboard tools for creating and sharing tech packs, storyboards, line sheets, color palettes, fabric and trim cards, reports and more; designers, product development specialists and technical fashion professionals, can collaborate in real-time from anywhere with an internet connection and browser.

Fashionware is currently accepting applications from fashion industry professionals to be among the first to experience the usability, performance and features of the new software through participation in a private beta program. Participants in the free program will gain full access to the software and support in exchange for sharing their experiences and recommendations for future development. Upon completion of the program, beta users will also become eligible for special incentives and discounts on license purchases or monthly subscription rates.

Fashionware Technologies’ mission is to provide the Fashion industry with a PLM solution that will change the way we think about managing the design and product development processes.
