DeSL, a global company delivering integrated web based solutions for the Fashion, Apparel, Textile and Footwear sectors, will be hosting a Fashion PLM and Design Seminar at the famous London Saatchi Gallery, 18th April 2013.

With the UK fashion and apparel industry facing increased pressures on their supply chain, DeSL will demonstrate how key areas in design, sourcing, production and sales can be optimised for greater efficiency. The seminar will cover important topics which are highly relevant for today’s fashion retailers and manufacturers such as; ethical trading, reducing the cost of development and samples, speedier design, reacting faster to customer changes, minimise quality issues, improved delivery times and how to collaborate in real time with your complete supply chain.

Marie McCarthy, Head of EMEA Sales & Marketing, DeSL commented, “We are delighted to be hosting this seminar in London and it will be a great opportunity for any UK or London based brands or manufacturers to see firsthand how it is now possible to collaborate with ease across their whole supply chain – and in doing so derive considerable business benefits for their organisation.”

Marie continued, “Quite simply, many fashion companies are still using spreadsheets and older technologies to help manage their supply chain, and this is becoming a considerable challenge. During the seminar we will demonstrate how new solutions can alleviate those issues, for example the latest iPad/Android Apps to help manage the whole ethical trading and compliance process. Also, the powerful Adobe Illustrator Integrator which is now in use with global design teams and helping to reduce design time by up to 20%. The seminar is complimentary and anyone interested to attend is most welcome and can register via the DeSL website at this link.”
