TXT Maple Lake already works with a number of leading retailers and apparel brands in North America, including Guess, Marc Jacobs and LS Travel Retail and, since merging Maple Lake into the business, serves clients such as Aeropostale, Columbia and Levi’s Strauss & Co.

TXT chairman, Alvise Braga Illa, speaking at its annual Thinking Retail! conference in London last month, confirmed the importance of the North American market for the strategic plans of TXT “We have been very successful in Europe so far with a comprehensive proposition of advanced retail planning functionality, state of the art technology, and strong business process expertise. Now we are executing in all dimensions: commercial, delivery and support to bring this proposition to North America.”
Curtis Popovich, based in TXT’s Canadian Toronto office, was until recently at Demandware, having previously held sales leadership positions at Quantum Retail, Oracle Retail and Sterling Commerce. Curtis will lead the sales process in North America and bring his sales leadership experience with key accounts.
Shanti Dev, based in San Francisco, previously ran his own company in the Financial Services Sector after having held a number of senior management positions at i2 Technologies (now part of JDA). Shanti will lead business development including generating new business and establishing alliances with consulting partners in North America.
