Life is good selects Gerber's YuniquePLM to support growth

Life is good, the Boston–based lifestyle brand dedicated to spreading the power of optimism, has selected YuniquePLM to organize its product development data into a single repository and improve communication and collaboration between the company’s existing design teams and its global suppliers.

Kevin Scheeler, director of technology for Life is good, said, “As a growing company, we quickly realized that managing our data across multiple spreadsheets, in multiple locations, was not the long-term solution. We needed a partner and system that would grow with us and enable us to improve our production processes. These factors, along with the ease of use we saw in YuniquePLM, made it the clear choice for Life is good.”

Life is good plans to roll out YuniquePLM to all areas of the company, including to suppliers. The company also plans to integrate YuniquePLM with its existing ERP system for tighter data connectivity and enhanced visibility across the entire enterprise.

Bill Brewster, vice president of Global Sales and Marketing for Gerber's Yunique Solutions business, said, “Beyond a system’s features and functionality, organizations need to have a certain confidence level working with their solution provider. In the case of Life is good, not only did we help them discover best practices, but the people and personalities involved on both sides all connected. This deep connection is what we strive to offer each of our clients.”

Life is good was founded in 1994 in Boston, Massachusetts and offers more than 900 different items in 14 categories. Their products are sold online via Lifeisgood.com, six company-owned stores and in approximately 3,500 retail locations in the U.S.

The company with a positive purpose helps kids in need by donating 10 percent of its net profits to The Life is good Kids Foundation. To date, Life is good has raised more than $9.5 million for kids in need, principally through Life is good products, the annual Life is good Festival, and community fundraising efforts.
