AIM, the industry association and worldwide authority on bar code, RFID, RTLS and mobile computing, will bring together international leaders in the AIDC industry to celebrate AIM’s 40th anniversary at the annual AIM Summit scheduled for September 30, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, FL.

This year’s Summit promises to be educational, motivational and inspirational. It will highlight the latest in technologies and industry trends, as well as standards and advances impacting organizations around the globe. Optional sessions, scheduled both before and after the Summit itself, will allow AIM members the ability to also participate in committee meetings.

In addition to the anniversary celebration, the Summit will also host a special luncheon to announce the recipients of the 2013 AIM Awards which recognize outstanding leadership, innovation and contributions to the AIDC industry in specific categories.(For more information on the awards and nomination process, visit AIM Awards.)

"The 2013 AIM Summit will offer our members, as well as those interested in the AIDC industry, a unique opportunity to connect in so many areas,” said Mary Lou Bosco, AIM’s COO. "One special way to enhance this year’s experience will be joint networking opportunities with our peer members of the Material Handling Institute (MHI), who have planned their annual event to coincide with AIM’s Summit. This will undoubtedly provide a valuable benefit to AIM as well as MHI.”
