Demandware, Inc., the industry-leading provider of enterprise cloud commerce solutions, announced that Wet Seal, a leading specialty retailer of fashionable and contemporary apparel and accessory items for young women, has selected the Demandware Commerce platform as a component of its ecommerce and digital marketing strategy. Wet Seal signed on with Demandware in the second quarter of 2013.

Wet Seal chose the Demandware Commerce platform because it provides fast time-to-market, a rich set of merchandising capabilities and a secure, scalable environment to support omni-channel operations. These assets will enable Wet Seal to provide customers with optimal online and mobile shopping services.

“Wet Seal is focused on growing the ecommerce business and providing a seamless experience for our customers regardless of her access point,” said John D. Goodman, chief executive officer, The Wet Seal, Inc. “We look forward to working with Demandware by utilizing its technology as an essential part in supporting this initiative.”

“Retailers understand the importance of having a unified digital strategy and vision as leading contributors to the bottom line,” said Jeffrey Barnett, chief operating officer at Demandware. “With Demandware, Wet Seal has a flexible digital commerce platform that will allow it to provide the best brand experience for its customers.”

Wet Seal is working with Demandware LINK Solution Partner, Lyons Consulting Group, for site implementation and services.
