Acumen’s fast growth and increasing product diversity were key drivers in the company’s search for a robust, adaptable warehouse management system.
“We have been growing quickly and constantly changing,” said Greg Primm, vice president of operations, Acumen Brands, Inc. “We needed a warehouse management system that could support our fast growth and adapt to the rising complexity in our distribution center. The HighJump cloud-based WMS will scale with us based on our seasonal spikes and business needs.”
The HighJump WMS will integrate with the company’s NetSuite ERP system and Kiva MHE system, enabling seamless order processing and fulfillment and improved inventory visibility. Acumen expects to increase operational efficiency, streamline order fulfillment and ultimately strengthen service to its retail customers.
With a cloud-based WMS, HighJump Software hosts and maintains the application and hardware infrastructure. Acumen Brands, Inc. will access the WMS via a Web browser and gain the functional benefits of a rapidly implemented WMS without the capital expense, hardware costs or IT resources typically needed for an on-premise system.
“Because of our solutions’ flexibility, more and more retailers are choosing HighJump Software to manage their supply chains,” said Russell Fleischer, CEO, HighJump Software. “Our highly adaptable and scalable software platform supports high-volume, complex distribution processes while enabling retailers to reduce distribution cost and improve service levels.”
