iMerchandise unveils mobile app for fashion buyers

iMerchandise, a groundbreaking app poised to innovate the way fashion buyers work, is now available. This revolutionary new tool is designed to keep all of a retail buyer’s information in one convenient and portable place, and act as a virtual personal assistant. The app is a game changer because it can be used as a completely standalone solution for managing the wholesale process, without being bound to any fashion platform.

iMerchandise was developed by a fashion industry veteran, David Secul and his team at Webservice-USA Alex Buzatu and Lucian Buzatu, in 2013. The concept was born out of frustration from watching his wife, Angela – a fashion buyer – come home to spend countless hours disseminating information after buying trips.

As he observed her painstakingly cutting out images and putting them on boards, or trying to remember the details of a day spent viewing 400 garments, Secul knew there had to be a better way.

His 20-plus years of experience in fashion design, merchandising and sales led him to create an intuitive and user-friendly solution that focuses on what’s really important to buyers. iMerchandise users can control their entire workflow from start to finish with this feature-rich app, from snapping photos and managing multiple brands and categories, to creating budgets, developing and sending orders to vendors and coordinating deliveries. Sharing images through social media is simple, as is sending full products right to an eCommerce website.

The app is designed to work seamlessly on one device, even if vendors use fashion platforms, paper or emailed line sheets. It eliminates the need for cumbersome spreadsheets and paperwork, puts an end to overspending and ordering errors and allows buyers to quickly and efficiently interface with their vendors and reps. With iMerchandise, buyers can work on the go, minimizing the effort expended on tedious administrative tasks and freeing up time to focus on more important, revenue-enhancing endeavors.
