Mipso, the leading developer of eCommerce solutions for fashion, recently announced the expansion of their proprietary FiT technology to include the entire range of men’s apparel. The technology has already been utilized for menswear with several leading brands, helping online retailers increase sales, reduce returns and improve customer service and retention.

FiT enables online shoppers to find their perfect size for each and every garment available online. Based on advanced algorithms that match each shopper’s personal measurements with the digital specifications of each garment, FiT finds the best “size match” for each consumer, helping retailers increase their online conversions and decrease their returns.

In a recent trial, Mipso's technology increased basket size by 52%, while dropping returns 29%. Their technology now includes significant enhancements in size prediction for menswear apparel, reflecting a growing concern male consumers have with keeping up with the latest style developments.

"Though eCommerce is booming, the inability to guarantee the right fit has largely left online fashion sales behind," said Menny Shalom, President and Co-Founder of Mipso. "Mipso's FiT technology allows major brands to give customers an accurate picture of size and garment fit, by creating a virtual fitting room that combines the best elements of being in the store with the convenience of shopping online. For today's male consumer, time is of the essence and Mipso’s technology can help drastically cut down on how long it takes to find the perfect fit for all of their fashion needs."

Mipso offers a white label technology that dramatically improves online shopping without infringing on brand integrity. The technology can be easily implemented and scaled, and is completely flexible, allowing brands and retailers to adapt and adjust the solution exactly according to their specific needs. The company plans to expand their offering in the near future with unique algorithms that can recommend different styles, colors and outfits depending on a consumer's personal tastes and characteristics.

"At its core, Mipso is about improving the shopping experience online by making the customer’s unique body shape the standard for size." said Orly Shay, Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer. "We want to help every shopper purchase the perfect items for their specific style, look and body – Mipso's technology means you have a talented, automated stylist with you – online, and this latest development completes the suite of services we can offer to multiline retailers to make that stylist even more effective."

Mipso

Mipso is revolutionizing the online apparel industry by bringing all the best elements of being in the store to the online shopping experience. Their advanced, algorithmic technology provides a comprehensive eCommerce solution that solves the sizing issue which is holding back the online apparel industry, increasing sales and decreasing profit-crippling returns.
