SRI extends PLM capabilities with NGC's enterprise suite

SRI selected the additional NGC software to provide a strategic platform for its rapidly growing business. The Global Enterprise Suite includes NGC's best-of-breed applications for PLM, ERP and Supply Chain Management in a fully integrated suite that improves workflows, productivity and speed to market. The flexibility of the Global Enterprise Suite will allow SRI to easily configure the system to its requirements.

NGC's experience in the apparel industry was a major factor in SRl’s decision to expand its relationship with NGC. "NGC speaks the same language we speak, and that made us feel comfortable with continuing to build on NGC software," said John Curtis, project manager, SRI. "NGC's Global Enterprise Suite will provide a solid foundation for our business, and we have the additional advantage of working with a single vendor for all of our solutions."

The integration between NGC's PLM, SCM and ERP solutions provides a significant advantage for SRI. "One of the immediate benefits is the PLM module will feed directly into the ERP system. For us, this will be a big efficiency gain," Curtis said. "Information will flow from the PLM and SCM systems into the ERP and out into the warehouse management system, which will eliminate the need to manually re-enter data."
