Phoenix Fashion Week hosts 'Meet & Greet' at AIMS 360 HQ

Brian Hill, Executive Director of Phoenix Fashion Week (PHXFW), hosted his annual Meet & Greet at the AIMS Headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles during the L.A. Textile Show. Each year PHXFW designer scouts travel to cities throughout the U.S. and host fashionable "Meet & Greets." The purpose is to introduce the team to the local fashion scene and potentially invite top fashion professionals in Los Angeles to be a part of their Fall Fashion Week in Arizona.

Fifteen hand-selected emerging designers will go through a 4-month 'Designer boot Camp' remotely, leading up to Phoenix Fashion Week hosted in Arizona in October. "Phoenix Fashion Week is the leading fashion industry event in the Southwest. We set ourselves apart by focusing on the business side of fashion while building emerging fashion brands from the ground up! 'Bridging Designers and Buyers' is the daily action goal that our entire team works hard to accomplish for our emerging designers.", said Brian Hill Executive Director of Phoenix Fashion Week.

Amongst the many attendees were emerging / established fashion designers, accessory designers, models, photographers, retailers, and stylists who are looking to expand their brand and increase sales. Attendees of the meet & greet learned about the vigorous program, topics that would be covered and heard success stories form past Phoenix Fashion Week winners.

Those that attended also learned about AIMS 360, the industry's leading apparel ERP software, and AIMS' contributions to education and training. AIMS360 Director of Business Development and Marketing, Chris Walia, discussed the importance of learning an ERP system and how their AIMS Certification Program has led to the success of many fashionistas with their clothing manufacturing or wholesale business.

The two will be working closely to develop an AIMS Certification Program (using the AIMS software) that will be implemented into future PHXFX boot camps.
