The leading provider of retail category planning, automation and optimization solutions, Galleria, announced an exciting partnership with the leading provider of dynamic digital display solutions company, Displaydata.

The partnership promises to create a solution that will revolutionize the face of retail today by reducing operational costs while still enabling the delivery of a customer centric in-store experience. Connecting cutting-edge electronic shelf label (ESL) technology from Displaydata with category management solutions from Galleria will allow retailers to achieve a reduction in both operation and inventory overheads, while improving the in-store experience and increasing sales conversions.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Displaydata to deliver an even more empowering, scalable solution, which retailers can use to reduce costs and improve productivity in core areas,” commented Ian Duncan-Lewis, CEO, Galleria.

Space, stock and personnel are the three largest costs to retail businesses. Through the combined power of solutions from Galleria and Displaydata, retailers can make significant improvements in these areas by automating and streamlining processes such as space planning, merchandising, promotions and replenishment. This enables a fully optimized operational approach, cutting store set-up costs by as much as 10 percent and reducing product wastage by up to 20 percent.

“Consumers drive today’s retail experiences; optimizing time management through improved operational processes is essential if retailers want to deliver a customer-focused approach,” said Jacquie Boast, Global SVP Sales and Marketing, Displaydata. “Through our partnership with Galleria, we can help retailers to address these challenges at a store-specific level.”
