CGS receives ISO certification for software solutions

Computer Generated Solutions (CGS), one of the leading, global provider of end-to-end, technology-enabled business solutions for the fashion industry, recently received ISO 9001:2008 certification for its software development quality management systems, after successful evaluation of its practices by an independent registrar.

CGS software development quality management systems, recognized by certification, include software development and maintenance, software training and testing, as well as infrastructure services. CGS software solutions have supported the fashion, apparel and consumer goods industries for over 30 years with leading solutions that include, BlueCherry, Leadtec, Threadvine and Microsoft Dynamics, and enable the world’s top brands to streamline processes, gain visibility, reduce costs, increase productivity and enhance competitiveness.

The BlueCherry Enterprise Suite brings together a wide collection of fully integrated solutions, including apparel Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and fashion Product Life Cycle (PLM) software, for specific needs and challenges. Leadtec Shop Floor Control Suite helps improve product quality, increase worker productivity and reduce turnover and cost control. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) provides guidance and standards for quality measurement, with the ISO 9001:2008 standard, specifically geared toward the guidance of quality management systems to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous quality improvement.

CGS’s United States and Romania Contact Centers also received ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management systems.
