Solutions provider Lectra exhibits at Galleria Intima

Lectra, a leader in integrated technology solutions for the industries using soft materials like fabrics, leather, technical textiles and composite materials exhibited at the recently held - Galleria Intima trade show in Goa.
Lectra exhibited solutions targeted at the lingerie industry which cover the entire end-to-end design, product development and cutting-room process and include Lectra’s special range of Vector lingerie machines.
Lectra says the lingerie market is challenged by intricate shapes and delicate fabrics that make producing efficiently and at a high level of quality difficult. In order to achieve a lean process, all areas of the design, development and supply chain are dependent on one another.
Lectra adds that it complemented the cutting-room overview with presentations on all of these areas, with a special focus on 3D product development technologies, as they facilitate both an efficient process and improved design.
“Lingerie and intimates manufacturing is constantly evolving and it is an industry that continues to experience growth,” comments Nagesh B.T, Director of Lectra India.

There was a zoom on the cutting room in addition to focus on the importance of a modern design and development process.
