American Vintage, a French fashion company, has planned to install the Centric 8 Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software for retail and apparels, a product of the Centric Software Inc.

Centric 8 PLM software for fashion companies spans the entire product development and sourcing process-from concept to customer. Centric’s PLM software has interconnected modules that deliver comprehensive functionality in an intuitive and easy-to-use suite. Everyone who deals with product development or delivery—including product development, sourcing, line planners, marketing, merchandising, sales and executive teams—works with a single version of the product.

The software has a smart interface that lets teams locate, use and re-use designs, saving time and eliminating duplicate effort. Its powerful analysis capabilities during product development help meet corporate financial objectives.

The Centric 8 PLM suite delivers easy-to-use functionality to manage critical, inseparable business processes, including product development, sourcing, business planning, quality management and collection management.

The founder and CEO of American Vintage, Micheal Azoulay said, “The Centric 8 PLM will help ensure that we maintain alignment throughout the organization without losing creativity.”

“The Centric 8 PLM solution will replace extensive use of spreadsheets at American Vintage. Relying on a single version of each product will streamline processes as we scale for growth,” he said.

He said with PLM, American Vintage can achieve increased efficiency, decrease staff time spent on low-value data entry and administrative tasks, and reduce iterations for samples and prototypes. The PLM software will also help formalize the phases of product development and clarify task assignments, he added

According to Micheal, American Vintage selected Centric because it is flexible, easy to use and learn, and has a visually appealing interface.

The CEO and president of Centric Chris Groves said, “The Centric 8 PLM solution will be instrumental in helping American Vintage close the gap between product inception and product launch”.

American Vintage is a fast-growing French company that creates and markets on-trend womenswear, menswear and accessories.

Centric Software is a leading provider of PLM software for retail, apparel, footwear, luxury and consumer goods companies. (GK)
