Bestseller Fashion Group China (BFGC) is set to implement Centric 8 Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software by Centric Software Inc.

Dan Friis, the CEO of BFGC said the company will use the Centric 8 PLM software for apparel companies to support growth, and further optimize product development, and improve supply chain processes.

Friis said, “The Centric 8 PLM software for retail and fashion companies will allow BFGC to drive business value through technology.”

“BFGC will look to Centric 8 PLM software to enhance the experience of product designers, improve efficiency and productivity among design and buying teams, and better facilitate collaboration and communication between their buyers and suppliers,” he added.

“Optimization of supply chain management activities will enable a more transparent production management process, and allow for comprehensive purchase order tracking and handling,” he said.

Chris Groves, president and CEO of Centric Software Inc. said, “Centric has a tremendous amount to offer these companies as they grow and expand, and BFGC is a perfect example of the demand, and Centric’s ability to quickly meet that demand.”

“As the Chinese consumer products market expands, BFGC’s business processes also becomes more sophisticated, and hence, Centric 8 PLM software will help BFGC boost efficiency, productivity and its ability to manage market complexities tremendously,” he added.

Centric 8 PLM software for fashion companies spans the entire product development and sourcing process—from concept to customer. The PLM software has interconnected modules that deliver comprehensive functionality in an intuitive and easy-to-use suite. Everyone who deals with product development or delivery—including product development, sourcing, line planners, marketing, merchandising, sales and executive teams—works with a single version of the product.

BFGC, member of the Bestseller Group, Denmark, is a clothing company owned by the Holch Povlsen family, Denmark, and two Danish business partners, Dan Friis and Allan Warburg, in China. The group designs collections for more than 6,000 stores in China.
