Southern Glove selects Simparel's apparel software

Southern Glove, a US-based manufacturer of industrial work gloves, aprons, sleeves, safety, and protective products, has chosen the enterprise apparel software solution by Simparel Inc., a leading developer and marketer of next-generation business solutions for fashion and consumer goods brands, for its Newton, North Carolina headquarters and Honduras-based manufacturing operations.
The natively-integrated solution will replace a legacy ERP solution and other software tools to provide greater visibility and streamline design-to-delivery processes. By replacing its legacy system and other software tools with the fully integrated business solution, the manufacturer of industrial gloves, aprons, sleeves and other safety and protective gear expects to gain greater visibility and control over its design-to-delivery product lifecycle and streamline processes to support rapid growth.
Southern Glove teams will utilize the natively-integrated ERP, product lifecycle management (PLM), manufacturing resource planning (MRP), supply chain management (SCM), and warehouse management (WMS) toolset in Simparel to gain visibility and control over order management, production workflow, inventory control, shipping and logistics, and other critical business processes, Simparel said in a statement.
Brent Fidler, the president and CEO, Southern Glove, said, “We recognized that to better manage and accelerate growth we needed better technology.”
