UK based and fast growing fashion design and sourcing company, Fashion Design Solutions (FDS) have partnered with UK fashion technology specialists, 1970i, and implemented the WFX Cloud-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. WFX stands for World Fashion Exchange Inc., a leader in the Cloud-based Fashion PLM market with clients across multiple continents.

By choosing WFX provider 1970i as their fashion PLM implementation partners, FDS will soon be able to verify, track, and audit their entire product lifecycle, allowing onward suppliers to buy with confidence and integrity. WFX technology is working around the clock and brings the superior flexibility that comes with a Cloud-based product. Not only does this mean that FDS can access the flow of accurate information and status from any location at any time of the day or night but the fashion PLM software will also generate and show a process history, which will allow suppliers to see where refinement and adjustment is needed, according to a company press release.

Matthew Salter, managing director, at FDS said, “At Fashion Design Solutions, we ensure that we are at the heart of making sure our clients in the fashion industry can get their products online and in-store when it counts. In order to do this, we need to be able to partner with a fashion PLM software provider who can track through the entire process. We needed a provider who could harness today’s technology to work more cleverly for us. That’s why 1970i with their innovative, Cloud-based technology from WFX was the optimum partner for us.”

FDS is a privately owned fashion design, sourcing and manufacturing company. With years of industry experience, FDS specialises in the whole fashion supply chain process.

1970i is part of Conceptable Ltd. As the technology arm of Conceptable, 1970i excels in fashion technology related solutions and consultancy. (GK)
