ShopClues, India's first and largest fully managed online marketplace, has chosen the Application Intelligence Platform by AppDynamics, US-based IT solutions firm, to provide a unified end-to-end visibility into the performance of its applications and infrastructure to trace and resolve technical glitches and provide better user experience for customers of ShopClues.

ShopClues needed an Application Performance Management (APM) solution which could proactively identify application performance issues to prevent downtime for business-critical apps. The company, which has more than 50 million monthly visitors, wanted real-time visibility into its IT operations, to proactively spot application and infrastructure performance issues before they impact the business.

AppDynamics' solution provides deep visibility into the core application code and infrastructure resources relating to JAVA, PHP, .net, C++, and other technologies by quickly identifying bugs, errors and latency, allowing smooth functioning of the managed marketplace, which delivers to 12,000 cities in India, and covers 19 million products listings in over 5000 categories.

The AppDynamics Application Intelligence Platform is a comprehensive solution enabling companies to maximize business performance. The platform is designed and architected to give business users the confidence that their business is running at its best, to give IT the operational visibility and control they need, and to give end users the great experiences they've come to expect and demand, according to a press release.

Sanjay Sethi, CEO & co-founder, ShopClues said, “ShopClues has always looked to put the interests of its consumers at the forefront. Our goal was to offer them the fastest, most seamless and glitch-free user experience which has been possible with the AppDynamics platform. Our website is now far more nimble and has a quicker load time, making shopping on it even easier and more enjoyable than before. Among the few globally recognised giants, AppDynamics was the simplest, fastest and easiest to integrate option for us.”

Subrato Bandhu, head of operations in India said, “ShopClues is one of India's premier online marketplaces and has the fastest growing user base. Handling increasing website traffic and managing IT operations required an experienced global player like us. Our Application Intelligence Platform is designed to simplify IT operations to avoid adversely affecting revenues. We're glad to be working with ShopClues and hope to continue providing their customers a hassle-free shopping experience.” (GK)
