Recently, Shanghai Nanotechnology Promoting Center (SNPC) has successfully installed nanometer materials in sewing machines. This technology will nullify the usage of lubricating oil in sewing machines. It will also increase the life-span and reduce the noise of the machines. The consumption of the energy will also be low.
This new technology created by SNPC, makes the whole sewing machines operation simpler. Experts believe that with the inclusion of this nanometer, production cost of the sewing machines will decrease a lot. This will also take the level of sewing machine industry one step ahead to compete in the global market.
In addition, this new technology can be used in other fields like aviation.
