Magnal Solutions launches STARS for sewing industry

Magnal Solutions announced the official launch of its STARS standard rate setting service for the sewn products industry. Manufacturers around the world now have access to our team of experienced industrial engineers and specialists to set standard sewing rates for individual operations, on an as-needed basis.
With the use of our Magnal SDM software based on MTM standard data, our engineers validate rates currently in use by a factory, or set accurate and objective rates for new operations. When requested, method improvements will be provided.
“Our clients were looking for this type of service,” said James O'Farrell, President of Magnal Solutions. “Smaller factories don't necessarily have the resources to use MTM-based systems to set rates, so we can do it for them. In addition, some medium and larger sized companies are looking to out-source some of their rate setting tasks.”
No expensive travel or on-site consultation is required, so costs are kept to a minimum regardless of where the factory is located.
