OptiTex will exhibit its best-of-breed design program at Colombiatex de las Americas. Colombiatex will be held January 22-24, 2008 in Medellín, Colombia. Visit OptiTex in the red pavilion at Booth 436 along with its distributors Soluciones Automatizadas and Kad Textile E. U. OptiTex will also be featured in SPESA's "Cool Zone" in the green pavilion at Booth 936.

OptiTex is expanding its position as the leading 2D/3D CAD/CAM software provider in Colombia, a major player in the textile industry. It has installations throughout the country, including at SENA, Colombia's largest National Training Organization.

“We're always seeking opportunities to expand our international presence, and the Cool Zone at Colombiatex is an exciting and aptly named venue for us,” states Ran Machtinger, President and CEO of OptiTex Ltd. “We created our software with the coolest features to promote designers' creative processes and have become the industry leader for this reason.”

Boasting an intuitive, feature-laden package, OptiTex's CAD/CAM uses 2D or 3D models that are fully customizable for virtually any body type. Designers can see how their creations will “move” before the first piece of fabric is cut.

ROI is immediately realized as the cutting-edge software dramatically reduces waste and speeds time to market. Users also can enjoy establishing a personal onscreen work environment that is specifically their own, making OptiTex the most user-friendly software on the market.

Virtually all textile markets currently benefit from OptiTex software, including the fashion, automotive, aeronautic, upholstery, and industrial fabric industries. OptiTex has installations worldwide.

“The SPESA exhibits have become important venues for us, and we enjoyed considerable success at their show in Miami Beach this past May,” concludes Machtinger. “We're looking forward to another wonderful experience demonstrating our design software solutions in Colombia.”
