Browzwear International, a leading developer of innovative realtime 3D solutions for the fashion and apparel industry announced that along with its Asian partner, Pragma Solutions, it has completed the VStitcher training with AIE Apparel of India, one of the market leaders in the country's apparel manufacturing industry.

Working with buyers including Nordstrom Inc, Caffeine Inc and Johnny Cotton and others, they have been seeking to move towards virtual sampling to reduce unnecessary time in the sampling processes as well as boost their efficiency.

Anish Tandon, AIE's Chief Executive Officer, explained the company's decision to invest in technology for the future – “With the world going the high-tech way, gone are the days of pattern makers manually draw patterns without an idea of the physical body on which this has to be fitted on. These days, it has to be done with the help of technology and that is what the VStitcher is all about.”

After the training in February, he was more than glad to share with us their views on the VStitcher. “We feel and believe that the VStitcher is a tool which helps a factory in many other ways than sampling alone. Its biggest contribution to a factory is to help the factory arrive at the final pattern/fit and specs for the program faster and more efficiently. This ensures that the leadtime of getting the pattern/fit approved is reduced considerably and the final pattern is one which is error-free.”

For a technology advancement to take flight successfully, all parties involved in the implementation have to collaborate closely. “We are very proud to have a company such as AIE Apparel among our clients.” Said Yanir Farber, president of Browzwear International. “The VStitcher is mainly used currently for fitting and design purposes and we intend to improve the ability of our clients to collaborate with their clients and vendors using the VStitcher. This is a very natural step which is requested by many of our clients as it can further decrease the product development cycle time dramatically”.
