Industrial Nanotech enters Textile Plant Market in Brazil

Another large dyehouse, located in the Trakya region of Turkey, which manufactures products for clientele including two of the largest sports apparel manufacturers in the world, used Nansulate High Heat on all dyeing machine heat exchangers. After monitoring closely their consumption of LNG (liquified natural gas) for a period of 5 months, they documented an energy savings of more than 20%.
From this data, the company calculates that their savings are approximately $40,000.00 USD per month in energy costs and, based on this data, have contracted to have other areas throughout the factory coated with Nansulate.
Henateks, a third textile plant in Turkey, applied Nansulate High Heat to their dyeing machines and other heat related areas including furnace openings, valves, dryers and other areas where conventional insulation cannot be used. After the first four months into the project their energy costs were decreased by 10% and after six months that decrease was raised to 16%. After project completion the minimum annual energy cost reduction was 20%, equal to approximately $580,000.00 US, and they achieved a significant reduction in carbon emissions.
