Allurent announced that it will integrate Adobe Scene7 OnDemand technology into its suite of e-commerce software products to provide online retailers with a one-stop shop for creating compelling shopping experiences that leverage the combination of Allurent's rich Internet commerce and Scene7's industry leading dynamic imaging services.

According to a September 2007 report from Shop.org and Forrester Research, shoppers are becoming more discriminating about their interactions online, raising the stakes for retailers to provide a consistently positive, more sophisticated experience.

Major Internet retailers are also increasingly looking for product solutions that are proven to work together to achieve lower cost of ownership. Together, Allurent and Scene7 solutions are delivering on this industry need. Allurent provides advanced e-commerce functionality, including rich merchandising displays and product detail views directly tied to the shopping cart, while Scene7 delivers scalable dynamic imaging services for dynamic resizing, zoom, alternate views and more. This integration will enable retailers to make their online shopping experience even more rich and engaging.

"We're excited to broaden Scene7's availability via this new venture with Allurent," said Doug Mack, vice president of hosted and consumer solutions at Adobe. "This collaboration will provide retailers with a solution to deliver engaging experiences that their customers demand, thus elevating their brands and setting themselves apart from their competition."
