TradeStone receives 'Positive' rating in Gartner's MarketScope

This comprehensive suite provides Apparel, Footwear and Accessories retailers with solutions that can make an immediate impact like – a significant reduction in spreadsheets and emails, improved visibility and accountability into their supply chain, reduced cycle times and increased margins.
TradeStone's Merchandise Lifecycle Management suite also leverages a retailer's existing technology infrastructure to layer over their legacy systems, which avoids having to incur a rip-and-replace approach.
According to Gartner, “Some vendors are extending the scope of their traditional PLM suites to also include capabilities focused on the challenges of global order management and global sourcing, as well as the processes necessary for a successful product design and development.
Moreover, the vendors that are broad-based PLM solution providers clearly have an advantage over other solutions as a result of their PLM experience across multiple industries. Organizations looking to adopt a PLM for AFA solution will need to ensure compatibility with their existing IT infrastructure or recognize the implications of adopting new technology platforms.”
In developing its MarketScope reports, Gartner undertakes a meticulous evaluation process including in-depth customer interviews and extensive vendor reviews. Gartner bases its MarketScope evaluations on a company's business model, product/service, market understanding, the company's approach to product development and delivery, overall viability, which includes an assessment of the overall organization's financial health, as well as ability of the organization to meet its goals and objectives.
