VNemart receives support of UNESCAP

In addition, the online VNemart floor also provides useful information to help enterprises join e-commerce services, including knowledge about foreign trade, e-commerce, market profiles, business experience, and economic statistics.

VNemart has received the support and consultancy of UNESCAP (UN Economic and Social Commission in Asia-Pacific) to renovate its features and provide more value-added services for members.

Since August 2006, VNemart has officially introduced PRO and GOLD customer service packages. Currently, VNemart has three types of members, of which Basic members can view information on the floor and upload a limited amount of orders; PRO members (with payment of US$50/annum) will be provided with a professional website with a separate domain and various designs.

PRO members are confirmed and have display priority so that they can raise the confidence in trading activities. Besides, PRO members will have rights to upload an unlimited amount of orders and limited products.

GOLD members (with payment of US$150/annum) have the same rights as PRO members but at a higher level, such as a website with an independent domain, higher display priority, and rights to upload unlimited products on the website.

Especially, VNemart will provide all-inclusive assistance for GOLD members in building and maintaining their show-case websites, at the same time marketing their products to world markets.

At present, participants on the VNemart e-commerce floor can choose any of the three types of memberships. Enterprises need only online registration on the trading floor to become a BASIC member of VNemart.

Then, in order to become a GOLD or PRO member of VNemart floor, members need to contact the managing board of VNemart to carry out some procedures on confirmation and member assistance provision.

According to statistics from VNEmart administrative board, VNemart receives between 600 and 900 new orders every month, between 400 and 700 new members and about 600-800 transactions among members. In fact, more than 50 per cent of transactions are among international members. This proves that the floor has a clear international role.

So far, VNemart has provided services for 100 GOLD and PRO customers. Many clients have obtained good transaction results through VNemart's services, such as Sunshine, NIC, Long Van and Minh Anh companies.

The great effort of the VNEmart administrative board and the success of the floor have helped bring in Vietnam IT Gold Cup prizes twice for VNEmart, in the sector of e-commerce products in 2003 and 2005.

Upholding its important role and providing better support for members in the period of international integration, VNEmart's administrative board is now launching a programme to give the “Integration Handbook” CD to members who register for Gold services.
