Two of the leading garment manufacturers in Tirupur, India, have opted for replacing their existing CAD systems with digital pattern making, grading and marker making solutions from TUKATECH, a world leader in providing affordable product development solutions to the apparel industry across the globe.

Poppy's and SP Apparels have adopted 38 TUKAcad solutions as a part of their plan to increase efficiency, accuracy and speed to market their products.

In an exclusive interview with Fibre2fashion, Mr Stanley, Chief Financial Officer of SP Apparels affirmed the company's new policy saying, “We switched to TUKATECH, as the approach of its software is entirely different from what we presently use, we can say Tuka cad gives a holistic solution for Garment pattern making and cutting.

Mr stanley further asserted, “As far as Tukatech services are concerned we are extremely happy. The success of any software lies in the implementation part, which Tukatech handles with care. Also their approach towards implementation is different from others, which is the secret of their success.”

When asked about the direct benefits accruing from such switch-over, Mr Stanley stated, “This technology will help us to prepare patterns using Tuka Cad and use the same for marker making and for the cutter machine in the cutting room. This eliminates the necessity of having traditional digitizers, which isused by almost all textile Cad soft wares. Besides, we have invested much less in installing the software compared to the expenditure on conventional ones.”
