ATG's Suite allows Chico's to do more specialized merchandising

ATG (Art Technology Group Inc), the premier provider of e-commerce software and platform neutral optimization services, announced that Chico's FAS, Inc. has successfully re-launched the Web storefronts for each of its retail brands as part of an aggressive multi-channel strategy powered by the full ATG Commerce Suite.

Boasting a streamlined shopping experience with easy navigation through each brand's extensive catalog of apparel and accessories, all three Chico's Web sites make use of industry leading functionality allowing the merchandising team to deliver targeted promotions and recommendations to consumers.

After recognizing a need to re-platform its existing sites in 2007, Chico's selected ATG Commerce to further accelerate the company's online business channel by enabling sophisticated merchandising campaigns. Chico's is a specialty retailer of private branded, sophisticated, casual-to-dressy clothing, intimates, complementary accessories, and other non-clothing gift items.

The Company operates 1,063 women's specialty stores operating under the Chico's, White House | Black Market and Soma Intimates names. By moving each of its online stores to a common e-commerce platform, Chico's has already begun strengthening its relationship with customers by leveraging ATG's extensive capabilities, recognized by analysts as the most powerful in the industry.
